About Us

Approximately twelve years ago, Pastor Terry recalls receiving the name, “Seed of Life,” from the Lord as he sought Him for direction.  Having accepted the call of God, to be a messenger of God, to preach and teach the Word of God, in 1995, Pastor Terry had a strong desire to follow the voice of God.  In 1997, his initial sermon was conducted at Wayside Chapel Baptist Church.   He served as Youth Minister for several years at Wayside Chapel Baptist Church and later served as Elder, and Minister to assist in leadership capacities in other ministries.

In June, 2012, Pastor Terry finally and completely yielded to God and began the process of establishing and incorporating.

Seed of Life Worship Ministries, Inc. At this time he knew his destiny was to serve as pastor and teacher of a local church.  This decision was extremely difficult as he endured opposition and doubt from various outlets; yet it was a relief to finally receive peace and rest in God.  Even though there were challenges, he persevered.  He made a vow unto the Lord to step out in faith and to obey.  Thus, Seed of Life Worship Ministries, Inc. was birthed.

In October, 2012, a group of twelve individuals along with Pastor Terry began meeting to hear the mission and vision of the ministry and discuss the next phase.  Two months later on December 23, 2012, the first service of Seed of Life Worship Ministries, Inc. was held at the Hampton Inn & Suites, Florence, SC.  There were approximately 80 people in attendance; family, friends, coworkers and community members who supported the launch of the new ministry.

God has continued to bless SOLWM. We have continued to grow as a ministry. During 2013, the youth went to Jentzen Franklin’s youth conference. We held several events during 2013 which included an Easter fellowship, Men and Women’s breakfast, donation to Hospice and our 1st

year anniversary.

The year of 2014 was another year of growth as we maintained the programs of 2013. In April, we began our Wednesday night Bible study which has been a great success. Our Men and Women’s breakfast grew in numbers and was hugely successful. 2014 saw us adopt a family for Christmas in which the outpouring of the church was tremendous.

As we moved into 2015, God expanded our vision. We relocated to a, state of the art, 813 seat auditorium. God has blessed SOLWM tremendously over the past years and the best is yet to come, “For we walk by faith and not by sight”
